Chincoteague Pony

Shetland and Welsh pony blood has been introduced to improve these two little known breeds.

The ponies are feral and their numbers are carefully maintained as a sustainable level.

Origin: United States.

Colour: any colour, often pinto.

Height: approximately 12hh.

Conformation: well proportioned. Strong and Muscular. Standing 14 hands and under. Extra Thick mane and tail.

Character: good natured kind, sweet and gentle
Highly intelligent and versatile.

Uses: Feral.
