Hello: My name is Linn and I live in the USA. I recently purchased a Pintabian colt (127|128) Arabian colt with a high percentage of Egyptian breeding. I also have a registered Straight Egyptain stallion and several Egyptian mares. Am interested in networking with UK breeders.ADDRESS: P.O. Box 678, Graham, 98338, USA. (sorry e-mail isn't working) thanks

I had a 12hh 2yr old colt who had been starved and he was very protective of his food, i found that to eleviate the stress at feed time i would ensure that that was the last thing that i did. I assume that your mare will allow you to put a head collar on while she is in the stable, then if you have a problem handling her in the stable tie her up outside to do your work on her. If all else fails then see if you can get a behaviourist out to see her because she may be in pain and you don't realise it, we had a horse who we thought had a bad behaviour problem and when we got the behaviourist out he had severe problems in his neck and his right shoulder. Don't give up on your horse she's going to need a lot of time, love and paitence.

My horse is 14.2hh sturdy built welsh cob 110% in everyway never bitten kicked or bolted in his life he even walks to his stable with out being led likes his food and if he knows were it is nothing stops him getting to it, he is 33 years old but still active and likes to jump loves hacks out and general fuss. i had a bad riding acident when i was 13 and brought him a few years later he has given me so much confidence back. i am not looking for money on his part just a kind owner to love him as i do and get the pleasure of knowing him as i do. he will graze and stable with any horse but he doesnt like donkeys
