| ‘Mrs Brown’ meets All The Queen’s Horses | |
Judi Dench, Britain’s foremost star of film and television, is to provide her famous voice for All The Queen’s Horses, the country’s largest outdoor theatrical performance to be staged in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Golden Jubilee year on 16th -18th May 2002. Renowned for her sympathetic portrayal of Queen Victoria in the hugely successful film ‘Mrs Brown’, Judi Dench recently received great acclaim with her Oscar-nominated performance as the literary genius Iris Murdoch in the film ‘Iris’. She has also played the awe-inspiring ‘M’ in recent James Bond films and is currently completing filming for the next in the series. She joins Robert Hardy, Prunella Scales and Edward Woodward in bringing to life an exciting variety of characters in the 12 acts of this once in a lifetime equestrian extravaganza, which is set against the stunning backdrop of Windsor Castle.
