The New
Revolutionary Joint Formula |
|
Anyone who has lived with
an old stiff and disabled dog has
experienced the heartbreak of arthritis.
This slowly progressive disease starts with
almost undetectable discomfort and may
progress to the point where the animal
refuses to stand, walk or even eat. You may
only see slight trouble in getting up and
down, climbing stairs or jumping up onto
furniture or into cars.
Most dogs as they get older, suffer from
some form of arthritis. Many owners
attribute the loss of activity to old age
and may not even identify it as a problem.
They do not realise that their dog’s
activity has been compromised due to
arthritis or joint degeneration, until they
put them on Glucosamine and Chondroitin
therapy and witness the return to normal
function.

|
Why
Glucosamine & Chondroitin Supplements? |
|
Glucosamine and
Chondroitin have been used to treat
Osteoarthritis in Europe for 20 years.
Recently veterinarians and doctors in the
USA have begun to prescribe this product as
the best treatment for the crippling effects
of osteoarthritis. Their use in the relief
and healing of symptoms of joint disease is
currently revolutionising the treatment of
this debilitating disease and providing
suffers with real relief. Glucosamine and
Chondroitin have been used in humans, horses
and dogs. It is often used as an aid in the
treatment of spinal disc injuries or
post-operatively in dogs that have undergone
joint surgery.
|
|
Where are
Glucosamine and Chondroitin Found? |
|
Glucosamine and
Chondroitin are normal substances found in
the bodies of living animals. They are at
their highest concentration in cartilage.
Unfortunately, through degradation during
digestion and processing, almost all of the
Glucosamine in an animal’s diet is
unavailable for use. The body therefore
synthesizes most of it’s own Glucosamine
through a biochemical reaction utilizing
glucose. In normal, healthy animals the body
is able to synthesize enough Glucosamine to
keep existing cartilage healthy, but when
the animal ages, or there is damage to the
joint cartilage it cannot produce enough to
keep up with the body’s requirements.
|
|
How Do
Glucosamine and Chondroitin Work? |
|
Glucosamine provides the
building blocks to synthesize new cartilage
and Chondroitin blocks destructive enzymes
that break down cartilage in the joints. The
combination of Glucosamine and Chondroitin
regenerates new cartilage and re-establishes
the healthy functioning of damaged joints.

How Many
Tablets Should I give My Dog, and How Long
For? |
|
Small to medium dogs
should be given 1 –2 to tablets daily,
depending on the severity of their
condition, with large animals being given 2
– 3 per day. If the tablets cannot be given
whole then they should be crushed and mixed
with food.
Most pets need to be on the replacement
therapy for the rest of their lives, but the
dosage can be reduced to 1 tablet daily,
once their condition has improved
significantly. Research has revealed that
cartilage degeneration will occur about 4 to
6 months after the product has been
discontinued.
